Scottish Power Online Fixed Saver March 2018 v3

ScottishPower one of the "Big Six" energy supplier supplies gas and electricity to over 5 million households and commercial customers across the UK. ScottishPower is part of the Iberdrola Spainish energy giant. On 10th February, Company announced price hike of 10.8% on electricity and 4.7% on gas effective from 31st March 2017. Around 33% Scottish power customers (1.1 million) will be affected from this price raise. Dual fuel prices will be uplifted by average 7.8%.
 
The Company launched "Online Fixed Saver March 2018 v3". By switching to this tariff, you can freeze your utility prices till 31st March 2018. 26% electricity a customer consumes on this tariff is generated from renewable energy sources probably from its 31 operational windfarms in the UK. This is online-only tariff so you have to manage your account online through Scottish power mobile apps or customer service portal.

Once your energy contract end, you will be moved to standard variable tariff and company will let you know about contract due and other fixed price tariffs available for you. Cancellation fees of £30 will be applied per fuel if you leave the contract in between. Scottish power made promise of smart meter roll-out to all customers by the end of 2020. You will get an opportunity to embrace smart meter and In-Home display for next generation energy consumption experience which is more precise than traditional meter experience.
